About us

We help children discover the Slovak language through fun and engaging activities, build a connection to their roots, and develop bilingual skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

We bring together language, culture, community, and experiential learning that children enjoy and that naturally motivates them to learn.

Our vision

Our vision is to build a strong community of Slovak families in Manchester while helping children maintain their Slovak language, culture, and connection to their roots. We believe that bilingualism is a gift that opens new opportunities for children while strengthening their identity and sense of belonging.

Our lessons take place on selected Saturdays throughout the school year, according to the published schedule. We also offer online lessons during the week, with times arranged flexibly to suit the needs of our pupils and their parents.

Children learn the Slovak language in a natural and engaging way while developing their vocabulary, reading, writing, and communication skills. Lessons include creative activities, games, projects, and opportunities to explore Slovak traditions, culture, and history.

Since 2017, we have been creating a safe and friendly environment where children build a connection to the Slovak language, discover their roots, and form new friendships.

We believe that two languages mean twice as many opportunities.
